Sewing

Unfortunately, our custom tailored shirt will take time to be sown compare to the other mass produced ready made shirts. However, we believe this is how we produce our special garments for our each of special customers, and this is the way we prove our craftsmanship and the quality of our products. Even though it is much easier to make mass produced shirts, there is something that we’re seeking to present for every single customers over the productivity, delivering with our custom tailored shirts.

Cuff

As well as the collars, all of our cuff patterns are designed as an arc. This curve allows the cuff to fit your wrist when it’s buttoned up. The size can be adjusted separately right and left if you wear a watch. In addition to the pattern, the cuff is supposed to be a little longer than the jacket’s sleeve in order to prevent to get it stained. Besides the fitting, the way how to wear is also an important factor to dress well.

Side Seam Gusset

Even the small part takes an important role on the garment. The side seam gusset strengthens around the seam and make the garment more durable, as well as embellishing the garment as the same time.

Stitching

Single needle, flat-felled stitching which requires skilled techniques, creates the smooth seam to maximize the comfortable touch of the shirt. The particular detail regarded as the quality of a luxury shirt constructs both enough durability and smooth touch to the skin at the same time.

Wind Thread Shank Buttons

The buttons on collars and cuffs are sometimes hard to button up because of the interlining between the fabrics and its thickness. To keep some space between the button and fabric and ease to button up them, winding the thread around the button’s shank is the small but significant detail of a quality shirt.

Sleeve Placket

The sleeve placket is sewn carefully to not reveal the raw edge of the fabric. Even though the part is hardly seen when the shirt is worn, this is our policy to go to great lengths to make precise details in order to present the best quality.

Shoulder Yoke

The part runs across the shoulder, behind from the collar through the back is called Shoulder Yoke. The pattern is cut to create a beautiful arch to fit through the shoulder and support its motion range. A split yoke is considered as one of the high-quality details of a shirt which is made of two different cut of the fabrics into one piece. Each of these fabrics are cut on the bias, so the fabric itself stretches more and gives more flexible range of motion. The combination of two pieces of the fabric also embellishes a visual elegance look to the garment, especially with stripe or plaid patterns.
